Submitting Tickets to West IP

 

Requests will come in to add a phone number for a new user, add a conference number, or add a direct fax.

For all of these things, we need to call WestIP for them to set it up for us.

WestIP can be reached at 502-315-5150. Follow the prompts once connected.

You will need to provide WestIP with the information needed to complete the task you are asking of them.

For a new user setup you will need to provide the name, office location, email address, phone model and MAC address. You will also need to ask them to assign the default password for voicemail which is 910467. Below are two examples.

1) CP-7945G

MAC: FCFB FBCB CFBD

New Location: 9200 E. Mineral Ave.

New User: Denver Bryan

New Number: 720-789-xxxx

VM Password: 910467

 

2) CP-7945G

MAC: 9CAF CAFE 7F0E

New Location: 9200 E. Mineral Ave.

New User: Denver 01

New Number: 720-789-xxxx

VM Password: 910467

 

For reassigning a phone from one user to another, you will need to provide the information listed below. There are two examples.

To add a direct fax, you will need to provide the user’s name, location and email address. If WestIP does not have a number available for the user’s location, it is okay for them to assign whatever number they have available at the time. The direct fax number is connected to their email so it will not really matter what office they are located at.

 

The conference number should be the same for all users. This number is 866-579-2587. You contact WestIP to provide the conference PIN/ID number, the administrator PIN/ID number and the participant PIN/ID number.

 

For all of the above referenced items, WestIP will open a ticket. For most items, they can complete them while they are on the phone with you.
